Emerging High Net Worth – Investment Assistant

The Emerging High Net Worth business is a part of the JPMorgan's Private Bank that is focused on servicing the banking and investment needs of high net worth clients who are currently maintaining smaller balances with the firm. The business’ primary goal is to grow total client positions of clients with a net worth of $1-5 million as these emerging clients represent a key area of focus to drive growth within the Private Bank.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for handling client transactions, responding to and resolving routine client inquiries and service issues
  • Providing proactive support to service clients, including: answering telephone calls, performing administrative functions, and assisting with client transactions
  • Assist Investment Specialists with client profiling to identify opportunities
  • Assist Investment Specialists initiate sales activities, during peak time
  • Work with clients to resolve problems, minimize loss, and avoid litigation. Work with internal and external partners to ensure client needs and expectations are met
  • Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct. Required to conform to legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines associated with state insurance and securities regulators, FINRA, SEC, JP Morgan Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase
  • Series 7 & 63 licenses required for position 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Services; preferably in the investment management or advisory industry 

  • Exceptional relationship management skills 

  • Superior client service and problem-solving skills 

  • Communication style that will create trust with clients 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Working knowledge of key regulatory controls and ability to manage accounts in accordance with firm policies and procedures
