The Corporate Risk Finance Technology (RFT) organization is seeking a Global Technology Resiliency Analyst. The Technology Resiliency analyst is responsible for assisting strategy development, oversight of resiliency testing and compliance with Global Resiliency Crisis Management (GCRM) policies and standards for the business application technologies of RFT which spans over 200 applications.  In additional, the Technology Resiliency Analyst will also responsible for oversight and compliance with annual testing requirements of business recovery plans for the RFT technology staff for all core operating locations globally.

 

The Business Resiliency Analyst will also assist in the coordination of requirements identification, gap analysis, design and development of complex resiliency management solutions as mandated by various corporate wide programs designed to ensure the most critical applications maintain the highest level of resiliency and availability. 

 

The ability to communicate effectively is critical, as you will work closely with groups inside and outside of the broader technology team to coordinate technology strategy development, business priorities, and resiliency program roadmap definitions. Analytical skills are also critical as you will be responsible for project level requirements, analysis and design/testing review to ensure line of business goals are successfully met with technology solutions. You will also be responsible for advising business and technology partners of solution options, risks, and approaches.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continued education of internal customers on policies, standards and best practices to mitigate resiliency risks for RFT applications, infrastructure and business operations
  • Identify, track, and escalate gaps in technology and business resiliency plans,  communicate resiliency risks and compliance issues to senior management
  • Conducts risk assessments and lead crisis management process for RFT application development or production support teams in multiple locations
  • Consult on technology resiliency components of new application development projects
  • Ensure Adherence to Corporate High Availability/Sustained Resiliency standards for critical applications
  • Conduct regular client meetings to ensure adherence to resiliency testing timelines and milestones, facilitate timely issues resolution related to the implementation and serve as a point of escalation on behalf of the client
  • Review completed test results and evidence to determine or substantiate that a test has successfully achieved its testing goals
  • Work with business and technology partners to develop and define strategic goals, roadmaps to achieve those resiliency goals, and success criteria to confirm goals have been met
  • Lead planning activities for resiliency testing participation in Corporate mandated resiliency events (Major Events Planning Calendar)
  • Weekend work hours are required at times for Corporate mandated test events (less than 5%).
  • 5-7+ years of work experience with Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery for an enterprise organization
  • Experience with oversight of the planning, approval and testing of application recovery plans/strategies for Application Development, Production Support or IT Service Delivery
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to motivate, influence both the business and technical communities as well as consult and advise clients
  • Ability to manage the processes of requirements gathering, analysis, testing, training, quality assurance
  • Proven ability to successfully negotiate / mediate / manage conflict and issues, proven team leadership and meeting facilitation skills
  • Timely escalation of critical and/or complex issues as required
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Certifications in Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery a plus
  • Must be available as needed to provide assistance during non-business hours
  • The candidate must have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
