AML/KYC New Business Due Diligence Associate
The Wholesale On-Boarding team will be at the forefront for JP Morgan in our value for scale efforts.  Client On-Boarding (COB) is a global team with locations in major locations such as New York, Delaware, London, Bournemouth, Hong Kong and Mumbai. The team functions in close partnership with Sales, Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure efficient and timely onboarding to the JP Morgan infrastructure.  COB plays a critical role in introducing new clients to our organization as well as ensuring full due diligence is done with respect to new and existing relationships.   
The AML/KYC New Business Due Diligence Associate will create KYCs for new business of JP Morgan client information.  The AML/KYC New Business Due Diligence Associate will validate documentation.  In some cases they will solicit additional documentation requests from the client directly to support the new business efforts.
  • Validate accuracy of data and ensure completeness of document package
  • Liaise with client on-boarding / sales for required documents and sign-off
  • Review all KYC entries / records and liaise with client on-boarding for any issues or questions
  • Validate all documentation uploaded into the KYC tool
  • Follow up with Compliance for approvals of High Risk clients, and with Sales/Bankers for all other clients
  • Complete remediation efforts and projects to clean up data and documentation and coordinate with other areas as needed (COB, Compliance, Sales, Client Service)

  • B.A. Degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in financial services operations, compliance, or client service preferred
  • AML/KYC experience needed -  CAMS certification is a plus
  • Individual must be detail oriented and self-directing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Excellent client and time management skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and willing to work in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working as a team or individually to deliver results
  • Strong working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of banking infrastructures, applications, and businesses/products is a plus
