As part of the Global Wealth Management (GWM) Advisor Experience technology team, Technical Project Lead responsibilities will include estimation and story planning, sprint scope management, and ensuring adherence to the GWM SDLC process in an Agile environment. Additional responsibilities focus around project management skills, including budget and resource management, status reporting, and both short and long term project planning. These core responsibilities will be utilized in critical projects for GWM technology projects building Advisor focused platforms. A successful candidate will accomplish the following:
•Lead a team of developers and analysts, performing the role of Scrum Master within daily standups, ABC sessions, showcases, and retrospectives.
•Develop and guide junior developers through design and code reviews.
•Provide input to senior management on technical decisions and design patterns.
•Drive both technology and business stakeholders to strategic, impactful solutions that focus on improving business delivery and success.
•Demonstrate ownership of a project in all project management disciplines, including budget and resource planning.
•Identify and communicate risks to producing various deliverables and solutions on time, both to senior management and stakeholders.
•Assist the business in identifying, assessing, and documenting how technology can improve business results.
Skills & Requirements
•Bachelors degree Computer Science or Information Systems.
•Minimum 8+ years in financial software development, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
•Expert level understanding of the Agile methodology and how to effectively implement within the SDLC.
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills; Attention to detail and ability to work in a structured manner.
•Highly disciplined individual, self-motivated, delivery focused with the ability to lead and motivate others in a team environment.
•Background in system design/development, with strong working knowledge of web based application design patterns.
•Ability to learn and comprehend new systems and business processes quickly.
•Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written skills to both technical and business audiences.
•Experience in Private Bank and Private Bank Finance related products, services and processing systems a plus.
