The goal of the Global Resiliency & Crisis Management (GRCM) Team is to ensure firm wide oversight over all business resiliency.  Business resiliency focuses on ensuring that the firm can maintain key business processes, systems and support functions in the event of disruptive events. 
 
The Business Resiliency- Strategic Initiatives role is responsible for supporting the various operations in GRCM in North America and globally, where appropriate. 
 
Role Summary/Responsibilities:
The Business Resiliency- Strategic Initiatives will be an integral part of the GRCM team and actively engage and participate in all GRCM activities, including:
 
Reporting

 

  • Responsibility for centralizing all reporting metrics/ MIS issued across the Resiliency team (eg Senior management packs, control committee reporting, resolution reporting)
  • Produce the monthly metrics for Resiliency working with the Regional Leads and the LOB Business Resiliency Officers
  • Improve qualitative analysis on the metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage and implement proposed changes partnering with Technology as needed
 
Governance
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of Global Resiliency & Crisis Management Program, including the coordination of governance forums, capturing and tracking of key issues, issuance of policies & procedures, support the preparation for resiliency regulatory reviews, etc.
  • Provide support and oversight of the regulatory framework for the team.  This will include managing regulatory issues, updates & reporting, coordination & implementation of new regulations and engagement with the regulators

 

Business Engagement
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of the business resiliency organization, programs, processes, and needs/challenges.

 GSIC

 
  • BA (or equivalent) degree required
  • Professional business/operations experience (2+ years)
  • Experience and exposure in risks/controls related fields (e.g. audit, resiliency, operational risk) preferred
  • Strong logical, analytical and quantitative mindset and skills
  • Self-starter and motivated, able to operate with limited supervision
  • Detail and delivery oriented, able to effectively plan and track to timeline
  • Flexible and comfortable working with multiple competing timelines/tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to work with multiple teams and time zones
  • Effective communication; Able to communicate succinctly both in writing and in speech
