As an Integration Engineer, you will serve as an engineer in the GSO group. Primary responsibilities include installing, designing, configuring, supporting,
maintaining, administering, and documenting the Integration environments (development, test, performance, QA, training,
and production). This role will also support Mule & webMethods development teams and be on-call for production support
This challenging role will also be responsible for working with the business and application development groups to insure
the appropriate processes and technical infrastructure are put in place that will meet their business requirements. The
role will also involve supporting users of the environment, so good client interaction skills are necessary.
During the initial period for this role, the employee will contribute to delivery and quality aspects of the team. This will allow
them to improve current tools and processes while learning other aspects they will use in the future. Additional Focus
on Enhancing the Mule offering to scale to the needs of our application partners will also require team coordination and
involvement of other groups to help drive the changes.
Specifically the role's responsibilities include:
•Administering and supporting multiple environments
•Troubleshooting problems and problem resolution
•On-call support on a rotational basis
•Interfacing with the Infrastructure and Operations groups
•Supporting the development teams with: Application integration connections and adapters; General technical support;
Escalation of vendor issues
•Performing/coordinating: Backup processes; Restore processes; DR Strategy and Testing; Upgrades/patches bug fixes;
Monitoring tools and processes; Code migrations; Security and error handling processes
•Identifying Areas for standardization to benefit the support teams and stability.
Requires strong experience in webMethods Product Suite
•Experience in Mule ESB is desirable
•Requires a demonstrated ability to work with AD teams to improve their use of the webMethods product.
•Requires good experience in Linux
•Additional consideration will be given to candidates with very strong skills of the required set or additional skills in: UNIX/
Linux scripting, Mule, webMethods
•If you have experience working with large Integration Environments based on Mule or webMethods, in a support role, this
will also be considered a plus.
•Must have 2+ years of systems project experience with knowledge of infrastructure and end-to-end development life cycle
processes and methodologies.
•Requires a strong history of analytical problem solving.
•Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to customer needs, work under tight
deadlines, and work independently.
•Must be flexible, a good listener, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
