Automation Security Engineer - Cyber Security

Job Description

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for creating engineering solutions for JPMorgan Chase's infrastructure security compliance monitoring program, Network Vulnerability Assessment and Web Application scanning program. In addition, you will work closely with the network, server, and database engineering teams. 
  • Candidates must have hands-on System administration experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows servers.
  • Candidate will provide support for OS/databases/Application related Risk and Compliance issues and assist with analysis and security product related issues.
  • This position will also involve managing third party Cyber related enterprise solutions for Network Vulnerability Assessments, Policy Compliance and File Integrity Monitoring.
  • Familiarity with the use and configuration of enterprise processes including backups, automated monitoring, incident, and change management.
  • Solve complex technical issues, working with large data sets and making good use of the data.
  • Supporting and developing tools within the Infrastructure Security space to include a wide range of security related tools.
  • 5+ years of platform administration or/and Application development.
  • Experience with Windows or UNIX or database environments combined with at least 3 years of experience with either programming or complex scripting involving interactions with databases and/or very large data sets. 
  • 5+ years experience with administration of UNIX/Linux or Windows operating systems.
  • 3 years experience in Shell scripting or programming in Perl, java, .net, Python and having SQL & PL/SQL development experience to help integrate/data normalization using ETL best practices on Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • An understanding of LDAP and vendor-specific authentication systems and their relate API's.
  • Excellent team work, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Security/Enterprise Network knowledge to understand network devices setup such as routers and firewalls.
  • Knowledge with network products and protocols including TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection and DNS.
  • Ability to work on tasks and projects through to completion with limited supervision.
  • Preferable certification if any MCSE, MCSD, CISSP, CCNE, CNE, CLP, Linux+ or other related certification.
