Responsibilities:

·         Ensure stable operation of the organization’s IT Infrastructure which includes end user support, daily operation and data center operation

·         Work closely with end-users and a team of regional and corporate IT professionals to provide IT infrastructure solutions that meets the business needs

·         Assist in troubleshooting of related problems with local vendors as appropriate to work towards resolution.

·         Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery, and provides expert support when necessary.

·         Interacts with internal clients at all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides solutions in a timely manner. Able to identify opportunities and make constructive suggestions on IT system improvement.

·         Represent the technology function to all LOBs. Provide IT support for commercial and investment banking and securities business and offshore bank.

·        Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure.

·        Improve the utilization of Problem, Incident and Change Management.

·        Support remote sites in Malaysia and act as point of contact to business user

·        Manage and facilitate the process of incident management of the location whenever service issues are discovered, ensure that the right level of support is available, on-call, 24x7.

·        Provide back-up support to the local security administrator and data center operation team

Qualifications Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or related field. At least 3+ years’ experience in IT field and banking experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MS products, PC Hardware and working knowledge of common IT related functions to support a growing enterprise.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible. Good problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Possess strong technology knowledge and expertise in data center control policy, capacity and request management, DCO tools, change, incident and problem management.
  • Able to communicate in English
