JPMorgan GWM Change Management is looking to recruit an experienced business application tester to support direct the delivery of timely testing solutions in response to growing business demand.
Core responsibilities of the UAT Lead Tester will assist with the development of test scripts, execution of testing and coordination of testing activities during the life cycle of initiatives and projects impacting Client Onboarding across the Private Bank.
The ideal candidate would have experience with leading a team of system testers, expertise in the identification of application anomalies, creation of test scripts, defect tracking and familiar with operational models.


  • Lead team of testers for system validations, coordination of key activities with Technology, Business and global stakeholders.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
  • Review of user stories and functional requirements, identifying gaps and formation of test scripts based on regulatory and business needs.
  • Creation of test scripts that reflect the intended functionality and workflow based on the user stories and functional specification documents
  • Full test lifecycle oversight, organizing functional and end-to-end testing for instance feedback and continuous integration.
  • Performing analysis of test findings, interpreting results, and identifying potential solutions to issues identified.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations that is informative, identifies potential issues, explains causes, details business / client impact, and could build a business case and consensus for change.


  • 5+ years of experience in business operations with an emphasis on application testing
  • Experience of working in a team following Agile workflow practices
  • Understand use cases, business rules and requirements/defect/issue management
  • Experience in large, complex system implementation projects.
  • Passion for learning new tools and techniques.
  • Advanced Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint and Visio skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of Workstation and the Client Onboarding “COB” tool
  • Knowledge of Private banking products and services
  • Understanding of the Bank Secrecy and USA PATRIOT Act
  • Prior experience in an Operations testing role and/or experience with technology applications and deployment
