Global Security & Investigations - Business Management & Analytics


The Global Security & Investigations team (GS&I) provides protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of JP Morgan Chase, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world.  This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, Security Guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, fraud Investigations and cyber security.  This mission is executed through the implementation of technology, best in class talent and client collaboration. 

 

The Business Management & Analytics Team specializes in Executive Reporting, Data Analytics, Metrics and Process Automation.  They oversee and align activities toward the vision and goals of Global Security & Investigations. Business Management helps achieve integrated organizational goals with partners by defining objectives, measures and protocols, providing the vision and ensuring partner plans are aligned, facilitating collaboration and monitoring progress. The team is responsible for the creation and presenting of various Executive Business Management reporting that is aligned with the organizations vision and goals. 

 

 

SCOPE:

  • Develop a holistic reporting framework for the organization that includes the rationalization of existing reporting, eliminating what is no longer required, enhancing and creating reporting what is needed on a go-forward basis while leveraging automation where possible
  • Lead the coordination and communication of various recurring and adhoc reporting request
  • Partner with Senior Management to develop various in-depth presentation used for internal and external marketing opportunities
  • Produce comprehensive and perceptive ad hoc reporting under tight deadlines with competing deliverables
  • Identify best practices while standardizing business management reporting processes
  • Act as a Thought Leader to drive problem solving and identify business solutions
  • Assist in driving the organizations overall strategic agenda and prioritization process
  • 7+ years Finance or Business Management experience
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and correlate multiple sources of data
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Foundation in production reporting, data, and metrics reporting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required, including the ability to synthesize “the story” for executive level audiences and adjust messaging and style based on different recipients and agendas
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (Vlookup, Pivots) and PowerPoint (PitchPro)
  • Proactively execute and deliver results with the ability to work at the strategic and  tactical analysis levels
  • Results oriented and deadline focused
  • Demonstrated people management and development skills
  • Enthusiastic self starter who is inquisitive with a desire to understand the big picture
  • Work well in an unstructured environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues, desire to learn quickly, be flexible and embrace personal accountability
