Global Head of Experienced Recruiting

Job Description

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Head of Recruitment who will be responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies for the function, globally. This Recruiting Executive will lead recruiting strategy and execution for the Firm's agenda across all lines of business and functions. JPMorgan Chase & Co. has over 260,000 employees and fills approximately 75,000 roles each year. This role will be responsible for overseeing all levels of recruitment across all businesses and Corporate Functions including the Global Service Centers.

The selected candidate will work closely with the HR Operating Committee to align recruiting strategies with business priorities and manage a team of approximately 700 recruiting professionals through their team of recruiting executives to ensure consistent execution against those goals.

The Recruiting Executive will work to ensure that the company is positioned to attract, source and recruit the best in industry talent across all disciplines. This individual will be responsible for developing sophisticated sourcing and recruitment strategies based on the current and future hiring needs of the respective lines of business across the organization, collaborating with senior executives, recruiting executives and senior HR business partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability as a recruitment subject matter expert to design and develop meaningful geographic recruiting strategies to support the development of diverse, qualified candidate slates
  • Lead and partner with a talented group of Recruiting Executives to share talent, best practices and execute the Firm’s talent strategy
  • Partner with Line of Business (LOB), Corporate and Firmwide Functional Recruiting and Global Service Center recruiting team leads to provide consulting and delivery for strategic recruiting initiatives
  • Partner with the Global Recruiting Operations Executive to implement and manage administrative functions and standardized processes, which support continuous improvement and the development of best practices in the recruiting and selection process
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on key competitors and a robust pipeline of external executives
  • Evaluate community partnerships, leverage external resources to support recruitment agenda, including educational institutions, professional organizations, and other recruiting resources
  • Have a deep understanding of recruiting innovation, internal and external market data to identify trends, issues and gaps, to help the function and business adjust its practices accordingly
  • Provide on-going management, coaching and performance evaluations for staff
  • Partner with Diversity Team Lead to evaluate diversity progress, relative to line of business diversity targets and metrics and manage the team to achieve diversity hiring goals for the Firm

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, global recruiting teams with a strong appreciation for both Executive and volume recruiting
  • Ability to lead, drive, motivate and structure a multi-functional team, consisting of experienced recruiting managers and individual recruiters
  • Demonstrated ability as a recruitment/sourcing subject matter expert with the ability to design and implement solutions for senior level positions with a niche skill set
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex situations and multiple priorities with a dedication to providing a high level of client service
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting, compensation, EEO/AAP, employment laws and HR polices and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong relationships with Line of Business (LOB) Executives, HR Business Partners and various HR teams
  • Proven ability to drive programs and to meet deliverables in a complex, geographically dispersed channel
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Prior experience managing vendor relationships (executive search firms)
