Business Banking supports 2.4 million clients across the US, including 200,000
clients that are aligned with one of our dedicated Relationship Managers.
Business Banking serves the Retail banking clients with revenues up to $20
million. Business Banking partners with most other Chase businesses to provide
our customers with a wide suite of products: Ink Business Cards (Credit &
Commercial Cards), Merchant Card Processing (Commerce Solutions), Cash
Management (Treasury), Credit Origination, and Digital.
As a business analyst within Business Banking Sales Strategy
and Solutions, you will partner with our Sales Strategy, Credit, Service, Marketing
and Technology partners to evaluate and define strategic business initiatives
that enable our business growth, revenue, and service objectives. Specifically
focusing on Business Banking's sales and servicing platforms (deposits and
credit), you will develop recommendations and business strategies by partnering
with business experts in the development of strategy, business process design,
and requirements. You will lead and develop quality initiatives that will enhance
and strengthen our platforms and Relationship Bankers’ ability to support our
clients. Understanding how the business
banking line of business operates across segments, products, and platforms will
be critical to your success.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Take initiative to lead and influence work groups;
driving consensus, to deliver our objectives
- Produce charters, scope documents and requirement
documents for assigned waterfall initiatives as well as learn and
participate in Agile programs, as Chase transitions many teams to this
- Develop use cases to explain / demonstrate business
requirements / specifications to IT team
- Identify, assess, and document business requirements
and functional specifications, recommending business priorities, and
advising business on options, risks, and costs versus benefits of various
- Assist sponsors in the creation of our requirements

- Support the current business project delivery lifecycle
including conceptual designs and requirements associated with all of our

understand the requirement.
- Complete requirements review-handoff to UAT team to
assist their test planning & verify sufficient testing.
- Help analyze impact of proposed solution across
Business Banking and our sales-service platforms
- 3+ years in Business
Banking, Credit Origination, Business Analysis or Related Project Management
- Creative thinker, with
the ability to analyze information and draw conclusions to recommend solutions
- Positive attitude with
the ability to build and foster relationships with internal partners and team
- Strong and efficient skills
in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Blueprint experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in
Business, Finance, or Systems; or equivalent work/training preferred
- Financial Services
industry experience is required; w/ Consumer, Business or Commercial banking
- Sales, Business or
Technical Experience w/ Customer Assist, SmartApp, Apstar, Lending origination
platforms, CIS, or DDA is preferred.
- Experience with Agile,
Asset Life Management (ALM), Blueprint, and Jira is also beneficial
