CIB F&BM - Business Management Associate - NY

Job Description

CIB Risk F&BM is seeking an Associate-level Business Manager based in New York as part of the Business Management team to support Wholesale Credit Risk.
 
Description of Credit Risk Teams:
Credit Risk professionals assess and manage credit risks on an industry, client, geographical and transactional basis. Credit Risk teams use their insights into the credit status of a client and the risks of specific industries to provide input on deal structure and execution. They work closely with other CIB personnel to manage the credit relationship with clients.  The group is also responsible for controlling the risks arising from collateral taken to offset the credit risk in a variety of products and assessing the exposure to clearinghouses and other central counterparties.
Key responsibilities:
  • Project manage initiatives in support of business priorities
  • Partner with Risk teams to manage and respond to Regulatory/Audit requests
  • Work with other risk functions, CIB Risk Tech and Risk Reporting teams to ensure a strong infrastructure is in place to support both CIB, Firmwide, and Wholesale initiatives
  • Identify and manage business risks, including the control agenda
  • Optimize business performance and planning, including
    • Planning and expense management
    • Headcount planning
  • Support management team agendas and meetings, business reviews, reporting and follow ups
  • Contribute to CIB Risk F&BM key projects, including strategic and control related initiatives
  • Driving coordination across front office and Risk Air Traffic Control (RATC) to manage new business initiatives approval (NBIAs) 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Presentation skills – written (incl. PowerPoint) and oral
  • Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions

  • Ability to multi-task and execute on a variety of deliverables
