Quality Testing Associate(AML/KYC) - Associate - Columbus, OH

Job Description

 
The AML/KYC program is in place to support the Firm in implementing and sustaining AML/ KYC firm wide standards across all business segments. The Quality Assurance manager plays a critical role in leading the team responsible for performing the quality assurance process for the AML/KYC review and documentation for LOB clients and associated activities.   The QA team reviews completed Due Diligence Forms (DDFs) submitted by the AML/KYC Quality Control team to ensure sound decision making and risk assessment.
 
The global focus on Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) is increasing and leading to new roles and opportunities within JP Morgan. The AML/KYC program is a key priority for the Firm and this role is critical in contributing to the ongoing support and success of the program. 
 Core Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Effectively partner with lines of business and business quality control groups to solicit information and mitigate risk

     Provide advisory oversight on, in-house quality and other control functions including program content, scope of populations to be sampled, metric definitions, sampling methodology, test questions, risk ratings, report formats, corrective actions and data management.

     Enhance operational effectiveness while maintaining favorable partner satisfaction ratings

     Analyze data and reports to derive performance improvement opportunities, isolate root causes, and collaborate on viable solutions to drive variation out of operational processes

 
 

Bachelor’s degree required

2 to 3 years experience in AML space such as KYC, investigations, and/or testing

 Individual must be results driven, have attention to detail, and skilled at diplomatically breaking down barriers and obstacles

 Focused on delivering a seamless and smooth "client experience" regardless of the complexity of the internal Asset Management infrastructure, policies, procedures and systems

 A "can do" attitude is a must with a passion for driving best practices.

 Ability to successfully influence many different groups and individuals to deliver high quality and timely deliverables

 Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate.

 Strong ability to identify issues

 Maintains a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task

 Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

 Strong sense of accountability and ownership over "Quality" and end-to-end best practices around the quality assurance process.

 Ability to successfully navigate a complex infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals

 Review and hold individuals responsible for performance metrics and service level agreements

 Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills

 Adaptable, flexible and willing to work in a dynamic environment

 Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a high performing organization
