Job Description:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering a number of key strategic initiatives that will help grow our customer base across the franchise.   This would be inclusive of acquiring new credit card customers within the retail channels as well as developing opportunities to grow the consumer bank business within the card channels.   In addition, the manager will work to develop capabilities that will ensure an optimal servicing experience for our card customers within various retail channels.  
The manager will partner with the Consumer Bank and its Innovation team to understand opportunities on where Card Services can better integrate into the future operating model.   The manager will then work to develop a vision and roadmap of initiatives and capabilities that help deliver on our plan.   Once the roadmap is established, the manager will partner with the business and technology to execute these initiatives.  This would include, but not limited to, obtaining management buy in as well as managing the initiatives through the development life cycle.    They will manage such key card strategic capability initiatives as our ATM, offer targeting, self servicing, and digital integration within the retail channels.
Other responsibilities include:
  • Implement innovative tactics and leverage our retail assets to acquire new and highly engaged credit card customers.
  • Develop a broad range of initiatives to deliver on our vision of promoting self service.
  • Partner with the Consumer Bank to understand opportunities to integrate the digital experience into customer interactions within the branch.
  • Develop methods to maximize and optimize our opportunities within our ATM network.
  • Work closely with the digital and ATM groups to understand future initiatives and how they can be integrate into the retail channel.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with the Consumer Bank.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute against desired vision.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience with operations experience a must an digital experience a plus.
  • Strategic and marketing insight/thought leadership and ability to identify business opportunities.
  • Experience in developing large scale marketing strategies with multiple components.
  • Customer centric, consumer needs based marketing approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong desire to transform organizations and processes.
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, team management, project management, multi-tasking.
  • Good verbal and written communication capabilities.
