CIB Risk – Credit Risk Officer - Professional

Job Description

As part of the Global Credit Risk Management function at JPMorgan, Credit Officers (CO) have the responsibility for managing the client credit relationship, i.e. ensuring that all credit related activities for JPMorgan’s clients are executed, approved, monitored and reported in a manner consistent with our internal policies and guidelines. This would include client contact to have a current and prospective view of the client, its industry and credit needs; build and maintain an active network throughout the Corporate Bank to manage our credit exposure and assist those business units in cross selling across the firm.
For new transactions, CO is the primary contributor and driver of credit analytics, industry assessments, due diligence and credit approval. CO is an active deal team member and contributes to documentation negotiations, post-closing transaction management, ongoing monitoring and review work for traditional credit facilities, derivatives, etc.
 
Main responsibilities:
  • CO Analyst has primary responsibility for managing designated clients in the credit portfolio (Financial Institutions, Large Corporates and Multi National Companies)
  • CO Analyst will work closely with team members and relevant business units to manage and own the credit aspects
  • CO Analyst responsibilities includes financial analysis, portfolio and credit reviews
  • CO Analyst will be required to review credit documentation and interact with relevant stakeholders (business, amongst others)
  • Post closing, CO Analyst will be responsible for preparing regular credit and portfolio reviews

 

Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics and/or Economics
  • CFA Level 1 or above is a plus
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Corporate Banking / Credit role would be a positive.
  • Basic understanding of corporate banking financial products and market dynamics with quantitative ability in analyzing and interpreting financial statements. Able to draw well thought out conclusions from analysis.
  • Team player and eager to learn are key characteristics
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia
