Key Responsibility

  • Provide a meaningful contribution to revenue and client franchise; Identify and generate revenue
  • Trading and portfolio management of cash equity and derivatives across Asia-Pacific markets, including Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan markets
  • Understand market drivers, market moves, and the numbers behind it all, as well as cross-asset and cross-market implications
  • Leverage technology and analytics to drive pricing/hedging as well as idea generation
  • Conduct quantitative research on new medium to high frequency trading strategy
  • Portfolio construction research and model development across a broad e-trading platform
  • Significant experience gained within a trading or quant role at an electronic trading, statistical arbitrage or delta one desk. Ideally experience across Asia-Pacific markets

  • Programming knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, KDB/Q, C++

  • Quantitative background such as mathematics, engineering, or hard sciences

  • Strong experience in workflow systematization and automation

  • Exhibit sound judgment under pressure and maintain composure through challenging trading environments

  • Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences.
