Global Wealth Management Operations Summary
Global Wealth Management Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank in JP Morgan’s Asset Management line of business. The Private Bank is the world’s premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals. Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations. Global Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.

GWM Client Onboarding
The newly formed GWM Client Onboarding team sits within the GWM Operations organization and is centrally in charge of client onboarding responsibilities in coordination with our bankers and business partners. This involves preparing and quality checking all the necessary documents required for Know-Your-Client (KYC) reviews for both new and existing clients.

The individual will be part of the team managing the 24 hour account opening model for select USPB Individual Standard Risk Clients, one of GWM’s key deliverables. Reposnsibilities include managing the communications, operating model, process and reporting. Communcations would include both internal Client Onboarding audiences (Onboarding Management and Virtual Fast Track teams) and external Client Onboarding audiences (Banker ITM, GFCC, JPMS, and Regional COOs). Oversee the processs that includes Guidance: Banker checklist (for Front Office team) and Standard Operating Procedures (for Fast Track team); Screening: providing names to JPS or CLS Corporate; returning evidence of results; Restrictions: Determine process for confirming KYC workflow post account opening. Build MIS to track and report volumes and turnaround times to various audiences (COOs, Ops, Bankers, etc.) and report on CLS (Client List Screening) results.

Responsibilities (includes below but not limited to)

  • Act as an advisor to the stakeholders on the project to achieve goals and overcome obstacles
  • Refine reporting requirements
  • Deliver against strategic vision and objectives for the platform and global consistency
  • Manage the overall development and deployment of the process and reporting
  • Report status updates to Senior Management
  • Partner with Operations Risk & Control team members and RLT representatives to expand the existing current model to a more sustainable one.
  • Effectively manage scope of projects and the expectation of project stakeholders


  • Advanced computer skills: MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint) Excellent time and project management skills
  • Effective in a team setting but is also a self-starter and is able to operate with minimal oversight
  • Competent in data management tools
  • Competent in client data
  • Detail oriented and committed to consistent quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including dispute resolution

  • Product development/product owner/project management, including both production and development
  • Proven track record of medium-large scale project plan monitoring and execution, including stakeholder communications
  • Awareness of Risk Management principles
  • Capable of direct interface with Senior Management / Senior Leadership
  • Able to simultaneously address multiple requirements and tasks
  • Experienced with managing coordination across organizations

B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience; Masters Degree is preferred
