Consumer and Community (CCB) Banking Operations:
The Business Planning and Analysis team is part of Consumer and Community Banking Operations and is responsible for developing an integrated planning and management process that supports the successful execution of CCB Operations business objectives. 
 
The Business Planning and Analysis team is part of Consumer and Community Banking Operations and is responsible for developing an integrated planning and management process that supports the successful execution of CCB Operations business objectives. The primary responsibilities of this team include volume / demand forecasting, capacity planning, business analysis/support, and executive reporting. 
 
General Requirements for Role
General responsibilities are to provide recommendations to Senior Management regarding financial and operations performance in order to meet expectations set forth in the budget and planning process, including support analytics and forecasting.  
 
Key position responsibilities include:
  • Partner with the leadership team to formulate strategies to achieve customer and financial objectives and serve as Business Planning and Analysis lead
  • Make operating efficiency recommendations based on forecasting and capacity planning insights
  • Use analytic tools to inform the business of risks and opportunities and prepare detailed business analysis to explain performance results
  • Design management reporting packages to communicate business result transparency to all constituents
  • Conduct analytical projects in support of process improvement across multiple teams and resources
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and translate metric performance across functions and across different lines of business
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for partnering with various levels of the organization and influencing results
  • Develop cross-functional knowledge in understanding impact of  performance and trends that impact decisions on desired business strategies
  • Demonstrating strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to streamline data inputs in order to turn around timely analysis that drives business oversight
 
 
 
Successful candidates must be able to:
  • Communicate and interact effectively with Executive Management to convey business performance trends
  • Exhibit strong people leadership skills with demonstrated ability of building teams operating with high standards
  • Ability to package and present projections, performance trends, and performance outlooks in an executive format
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and translate metric performance into business insight
  • Develop strong relationships and partnerships across functions to execute an integrated planning process
  • Navigate and negotiate organizational complexities to influence decision makers
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree is required, Masters degree preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, 5+ years in financial services industry preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong software skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills preferably in a large company
  • Demonstrated understanding of business value drivers and aligning teams to achieve business objectives
  • Significant forecasting experience required, strong modeling background is a plus
