Recruiting Manager, Risk, Oversight & Controls and Chief Investment Office

Job Description

The Recruiting Manager for Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Risk and Oversight & Control (O&C) will manage a team of approximately 5-6 recruiters who are tasked with providing a comprehensive recruiting product to the Risk and O&C groups that support CCB, and reports to the Global Head of Recruiting for Risk, Oversight and Control (O&C), Treasury and CIO and Diversity.
The successful person is expected to manage, coach and develop a team of US based Consumer Community Banking (CCB) Risk & O&C Recruiters. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Liaise with the global counterparts in India to confirm consistent processes globally
  • Manage the relationships with the business heads
  • Work with the Global Recruiting Head to develop and deliver a market leading recruiting strategy for the US team
  • Act as a key member of the global recruiting team for Risk and O&C working to develop a consistent approach across all regions
  • Oversee the recruiting process for all US based internal and external experienced hires within CCB Risk and O&C
  • Conduct senior level hiring for designated client groups, in partnership with the in-house direct sourcing team
  • Partner with the business to develop and drive direct sourcing methods and strategies, utilizing in-house recruiting methods
  • Source candidates directly by conducting and collating market research and building referral networks
  • Build strategic relationships with clients across specific businesses demonstrating advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise within recruiting acting as a trusted advisor
  • Attend business management meetings and provide regular reporting and MIS updates as required
  • Negotiate complex offers with candidates partnering with hiring managers, and internal HR partners to structure offers
  • Ensure the correct use of relevant recruiting and HR systems
  • Promote best practices within recruiting
  • Champion diversity within the firm
  • Assist the CCB Risk and O&C groups in driving and maintaining internal mobility
  • Manage relationships with vendors as needed
  • 7 plus years working in a high volume recruiting environment with an extensive knowledge of full life cycle recruiting
  • Experience managing a team of recruiters based in several different locations
  • Prior experience managing recruiting within Operations or an infrastructure environment is required
  • Experience utilizing direct recruiting methods is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and possessing the ability to create a proactive recruiting strategy
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to build partnerships with not only clients, HR colleagues and vendors but across a matrix organization
  • The ability to think strategically and globally and to roll out improvements to insure best practices
  • Experience conducting senior level searches
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Strong project management skills and sound judgment
  • Competency based interviewing experience
  • Experience recruiting within the financial services sector is strongly preferred
