JPMorgan Asset Management Technology is looking to recruit an experienced Software Quality Assurance Analyst to support the delivery of timely testing solutions in response to growing business demand.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced developer who has caught the testing bug, or technical tester who understands code.

Your core responsibilities will be integrating with the delivery team, Product Owners (PO) and internal business customers to develop and refine requirements that can be written into executable business tests.  You will be embedded in development teams and responsible for promoting developer led testing practices in the team and producing high levels of automated test coverage.


  • Work with business proxy to define acceptance criteria using Specifications by Example.

  • Develop business level customer facing tests using Cucumber, Selenium or similar tools.

  • Develop and maintain agile automated testing for mission critical applications and components and develop and educate the scrum teams on test automation practices.

  • Promote the agile ‘whole team’ approach to quality.

  • Full test lifecycle oversight, organizing unit testing for instance feedback and continuous integration, and larger functional cycles for integration and deployment testing.

  • 5+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on software quality assurance testing
  • Experience of working in a team following Agile software development practices
  • Familiarity with functional and non-functional software requirements.
  • Understand use cases, business rules and requirements/defect/issue management
  • Experience in large, complex system implementation projects.
  • Passion for learning new tools and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of an OO language
  • Experienced in test automation framework development & strategy
