Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services across then firm. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
GTI iCTO is responsible for driving infrastructure management disciplines across the GTI organization and estate with a particular focus on GTI as a Consumer of its own Services.  Key initiatives and programs include driving Critical Availability Framework adoption and compliance, infrastructure hygiene, risk and controls, demand management and optimization of infrastructure assets.  The GTI iCTO function is a governance function that partners with senior GTI leadership to drive key improvement initiatives and ensure GTI’s compliance with the Firm-wide policies and best practice.
Key Responsibilities to Include:
  • Leadership and direct involvement in iCTO driven programs including Critical Availability Framework, Infrastructure Hygiene, Controls & Security Compliance, Driving End-to-End Ownership, Adoption of Managed Services and Demand Management
  • Sponsor and lead assigned program/s across GTI Service organizations
  • Develop strong partnerships with GTI Service Owners to maximize impact
  • Analyze and leverage data to understand current status, agree targets with Service/Tower Owners and drive improved discipline and control
  • Influence at all levels, but particularly with senior management to focus the organization’s resources and expertise on the high value / impact programs
  • Work dynamically across many globally diverse virtual teams
  • Comfortable working as individual contributor and/or oversight of portfolios belonging to others
  • Represent global iCTO as required
Skills & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in Technology and preferable within the finance sector, and 7+ years of senior management tenure
  • Experience working within a global organization
  • Successful in driving global organizational changes
  • Experience at working in a matrix management model and utilizing virtual teams
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills, comfortable executing against recommendations and plans by overcoming barriers and resistance
  • Adept at analysis and ability to understand MIS to draw conclusions and use data
  • Ability to forge strong relationships and build a wide network throughout the firm
