Corporate Compliance – Futures Trade Surveillance - Vice President

This role is part of the Americas Futures Trade Surveillance team within the Firm’s Global Compliance Surveillance department. Key functions of this role include:
  • Reviewing surveillance output and conducting surveillance analysis of trading and market activity, with a primary focus on futures and options products
  • Working with business and compliance stakeholders to identify potential market misconduct and escalate/disposition accordingly
  • Conducting reviews and analysis to support regulatory exams and inquiries and other requests, as needed
  • Working with global surveillance and technology stakeholders on new and enhanced surveillances - including defining requirements, conducting analysis, conducting UAT testing, and defining and implementing related processes and procedures
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of compliance, regulatory, or related financial industry experience 
  • Product experience with futures and options
  • Knowledge of industry rules and regulations and market structure (e.g., CFTC, NFA, CME, ICE)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SMARTS or similar trade surveillance systems is a plus
