Job Description:


  • Incumbent performs a wide variety of due diligence activities at client/prospect facilities.

  • The primary activities include collateral (generally accounts receivable and inventory) valuation and analysis, evaluation of accounting system controls and data integrity and managerial control reviews.

  • Investigates or reviews "deal-specific" matters and reports findings to deal team.

  • Conduct on-site reviews of client or target companies, communicates significant findings and potential areas of concern to applicable deal team members, prepares formal reports for senior management review and distribution.

  • Reports to Field Exam Team Leader or Team Leader Senior.

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
  • Fifteen credit hours in Accounting preferred.
  • Incumbent typically has less than 2 years related expertise.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and to work independently on a limited basis.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills necessary with working knowledge of MS Office and proficiency with Excel.
  • Knowledge of data mining software (Monarch or Idea) is a plus.
  • 50% out of town, overnight travel required.
