The Role:        
The Head of Product for Chase Commerce Solutions will be responsible for designing and delivering Chase’s market leading suite of merchant payment solutions. Chase Commerce Solutions enables both small businesses and large merchants to serve their customers - in store, online, or on-the-go – with convenient solutions that help customers shop and pay with ease.
The Head of Product will partner actively with the leaders of Chase Commerce Solutions client segments (Global eCommerce, Omni-channel and Small Business) and regional teams (Europe, Canada, and Emerging Markets) to deliver seamless experiences to our clients and their customers.  Our product and segment teams partner together to translate client needs into product roadmaps. Our product team designs products with relentless attention to client experience and delivers solutions to meet committed release timelines.
Our Head of Product will develop and lead a robust software development lifecycle methodology to improve product planning and management, including new product design, testing, delivery, and performance measurement. This transformational leader will transition our product organization from a technical product team to a design and execution focused product organization. 
Our product head will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in Technology, Marketing, Operations, PMO, Finance, and other shared services within Chase Commerce Solutions. He/she will also partner with functional partners across Chase, including Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Card Services, Treasury Services and Digital Product, and Payments Strategy.
This role will report to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and be a critical member of the Chase Commerce Solutions Senior Leadership Team.
Key Priorities:
  • Designing and implementing Chase Commerce Solutions’ product roadmaps to ensure market share, revenue and profit growth.  This will require attention and focus on market innovation and competitor strategies.
  • Develop and lead a robust software development lifecycle methodology to improve planning and management, including new product conception, design, testing, delivery, performance tracking and overall product management
  • Manage and encourage deep Subject Matter Expertise aligned with each product suite, including but not limited to acceptance, transaction processing, security,  fraud, business intelligence, reporting, and platforms
  • Ensure entire product organization remains committed to controls, compliance and the overall safety and soundness of our merchant and consumer communities.
  • Become an active member of the Chase Commerce Solutions Senior Leadership team with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple business functions, including Business Development, Technology, Operations, Product Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Strategy and Finance
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of direct reports, including recruiting next generation of Product Management talent from industry leading companies
Experience Requirements:
  • 15+ years experience managing a complex multi-national Product portfolio,
  • 15+ years experience in the payments industry and/or technology-enabled industries.
  • Multi-national payments sector experience preferred
  • Track record of success managing geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience managing and negotiating complex agreements with service vendors
  • Experience interpreting VOC research to translate those spoken and unspoken customer needs into Chase commercial products designed with customer experience at top of mind
  • Proven experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
  • Deep understanding of emerging payments technologies
  • Experience building high performing lean teams. Proven ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop employees
  • Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred
