Operations Division Leader – Research Operations Chicago
Managerial responsibilities include the oversight of the day to day processes within a key unit that handles brokerage products/services, manages escalations, and uses independent thinking to consider exception processing.
Be an individual who can focus on the team’s long term goals, effective business management, and continuous associate and team level development.
Develop staff by evaluating performance, using motivational or educational coaching, conduct interviewing and hiring.
Be able to forecast needed adjustments to existing processes or to staff, and analyze and recommend procedures to enhance or economize departmental operational effectiveness.
Candidate needs the ability to conduct relevant systems training, hold team meetings to review existing processes, and to become knowledgeable about the specialized systems applications relevant to the team.
The candidate would need to be able to participate in unit audits, and work with auditors to answer questions about the process.
Must be an adept communicator, team motivator, and possess ability to work with multiple levels of associates and management, confer with other operational units, and address escalations promptly and accurately by acting in the capacity of an authorized manager.
