The Legal Department of JPMorgan Chase & Co is responsible for the provision of legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the Corporation’s lines of business and corporate staff areas.  This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.
The Office of the General Counsel supports the legal department’s delivery of legal services through an application of legal and other professional disciplines.

Job Description
This role resides in the Office of Advancing Legal Capabilities and is responsible for performing all aspects of content analysis, curation and review, as well as assisting in managing and implementing engagements with clients using our knowledge graph and term curation program.
  • QC regulatory content and data sets with high attention to detail in multiple environments
  • Manage interactions with third-party content vendors, technology partners, and application users
  • Review and answer inquiries regarding regulatory data sources
  • Work with stakeholders to define strategic requirements and enhancement to supporting platforms
  • Track and manage data workflows and associated metrics
  • Gather and organize large data sets for ingestion into research applications/environments
  • Work with the Research & Data Management team to review and enhance rule sets for data tagging
  • Curate documents (legal, procedural and other) to identify and incorporate key terms, concepts and topics into an overarching knowledge model
  • Assist in validating the curation process and in-house developed tools to identify possible enhancements
  • Interface with Legal subject matter experts to assist in confirming the results of applying the knowledge model
  • Manage project and client relationships for applicable engagements
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in operational or compliance risk management, including program design and implementation
  • Ability to learn new applications and processes with relative ease
  • Ability to parse through large quantities of raw data, extract useful intelligence, and articulate a clear message for senior management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite expertise
  • All candidates for roles in the Legal department must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment. 
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Project management experience, including managing both subordinate and peer-level resources in project execution
  • Background experience in working with regulatory content a plus
  • Background experience in application development a plus
