Software Engineering Lead

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • 5-10 years experience working with operations
  • 5-10 years focused on enhancing and optimizing processes with technology platforms
  • Must have 5-10 years of Software Engineering, Business Analysis and Project experience
  • Experience leading, managing and reporting on project deliverables
  • Ability to effectively drive distributed offshore and onshore teams
  • Experience managing financial, accounting, and/or loan system interfaces, reporting and platform migrations
  • Extensive experience in refactoring/redirecting downstream applications as part of large platform migrations
  • Identifications and resolve critical bottlenecks with system support
  • Experience with Corporate reconciliation, Central data cleani9ng, extracts to systems for targeted usage
  • Designer for the financial/accounting/loan interface and reporting
  • Cross-functional team requirements gathering, design and testing - hands-on and facilitator
  • Track record as an individual contributor, facilitation roles between technology & business and matrix management roles
  • Moderate SQL skills required (Oracle Preferred)
  • Ability to rapidly understand, simplify and communicate back complex concepts in a pragmatic ways to cross-functional teams, team members and managers
  • Strong background in technology and working on a technology or project team
  • Prior experience in Vendor Management
  • Good to have knowledge of the Loan IQ database and user interface functionality

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with other loan processing systems such as ACBS and AFS
