Description:
CIB CAO Vendor Management at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for scoping and driving the vendor management strategy across CIB Technology and Operations. Its purpose is to:
  • Ensure that CIB CAO achieves the most optimal commercial and quality delivery from our third-party resource suppliers
  • Define a consistent and efficient  operating  model between Vendor Management, Sourcing & TPO and with our Tech & Ops clients
  • Manage continuous process improvement across vendor management

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced vendor management professional to provide additional support to manage and execute the vendor optimization strategy. The main focus areas are:

  • Vendor consolidation
  • Maturing our existing engagements
  • Managing transitions for any new engagements
Responsibilities:
  • Supports the CIB CAO Vendor Management lead in developing the vendor optimization strategy
  • Program manages  the execution of the vendor optimization strategy
  • Develops effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Interacts closely with stakeholders and clients  to validate data and review actions and plans
  • Contributes to strategic improvement programs across vendor management

Objectives:

  • Manages the Legacy Apps transition to one or more global suppliers  in terms of analysis, planning and execution
  • Executes the Ops vendor optimization strategy, with focus on BPO and KTT
  • Partner with Sourcing to ensure that the bank extracts maximum commercial value from our vendors
  • Ensure that we employ the most optimal contract type per engagement (T&M, capacity based, managed service, etc), including  task order consolidation
  • Develop and manage an effective deal pipeline and implement an optimized deal governance process
  • Experience in the financial services industry highly desired
  • Advanced degree from top-tier institution
  • 8+ years experience as a vendor management professional
  • Experience working with leading outsourcing suppliers
  • Experience of managing or supporting outsourcing engagements of $30+ million
  • Support multi-million dollar vendor consolidation programs
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
