Commercial Banking serves more than 30,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. The Firm's broad platform positions the Commercial Bank to deliver extensive product capabilities - lending, treasury services, investment banking, and asset management - to meet our clients' domestic and international financial needs.
 
As a Data & Doc Prep Processor, your responsibilities would include:
  • Receive and sort all incoming loan documents and mail items
  • Identify collateral documents and ensure all liens are perfected at time of receipt
  • Prepare physical loan documents for scanning/ imaging
  • Operate and maintain high speed Kodak scanners
  • Key and update collateral information on the applicable collateral system
  • Handle incoming payments and prepare corresponding GL tickets
  • Research and respond to internal and external requests
  • Meet and exceed established Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain inventory of loan files and coordinate retrieval and pick up files with Iron Mountain
  • Understand and adhere to the Firm’s policies and established procedures
  • Assist with outside BAU projects and remediation


 

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of prior loan operations experience in a banking or financial services industry, preferred
  • Prior experience with processing legal loan documentation, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to interpret standard reports and forms
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with completed work
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting to ensure team’s objectives are met

Additional hours and/or mandatory overtime may be required during peak volume periods and based on other business needs.
