    Job Opportunities’ Highlights – Firmwide Finance & Business Management, Audit & Risk

    • Controller Responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of the financial statements and controls over the transaction cycle; performing critical reporting and controls’ functions for the organization, including legal entity, financial and regulatory.
    • Financial Analysis Comprised of  five teams, Corporate Finance Analytics (CFA), Firmwide P&A, Firmwide Forecasting & Analysis (FFA), Economic Scenario Management and Financial Analysis Program Management, responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, central oversight and coordination of Firmwide budgeting and forecasting.
    • Business Management  Business manager optimizes business performances by helping to drive key initiatives. They act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.
    • Program Management PMO is designed to drive a more efficient, integrated operating model and technology infrastructure framework for global finance in partnership with Operations, Technology, Risk and all LOB finance teams.
    • Regulatory Capital Management Office (RCMO) within Corporate Finance, is an organization that oversees capital related functions across the Firm, focusing on regulatory and internal capital management. Primary objective is to establish control and governance, best practices and accountability for the regulatory capital process, calculating and managing the Firm’s Risk Weighted Assets.
    • Tax is responsible for making sure that the income tax returns JPMC files are both accurate and timely, as well as structuring our operations and legal entity structure so that we operate as tax-efficiently as possible. Support our businesses on any tax-related issues, and protect JPMC from any tax-related reputational risk.
    • Resolution & Recovery Responsible for the firm’s Title I global Resolution Plan submission which is filed annually with the Fed and FDIC. The group works closely with all resolution and recovery representatives and executive management teams across the LOBs, corporate functions and regions on coordinating and delivering the firm’s global requirements.
    • Regulatory Reporting Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of multiple reports that are filed with various US regulatory agencies (primarily the Federal Reserve, the OCC, the FDIC, the Department of the Treasury, and the U.S. Department of Commerce) for certain of the Firm’s foreign and domestic principal subsidiaries.
    • Financial Reporting Provides reporting to both our internal and external clients.  Includes accurate, reliable and timely financial information that can be used by management and investors to make sound financial decisions and analysts to assess the firm's financial position.
    • Treasury and Chief Investment Office is responsible for delivering on the firm’s strategic priorities across both structural interest rate risk and liquidity management.  Treasury manages the firm’s capital, balance sheet, liquidity and funding strategy and positions, including short dated and secured funding, debt and capital issuance and buybacks, and liquidity risk management. 
    • Risk The Firm’s overall objective is to manage its businesses, and the associated risks, in a manner that balances serving the interests of its clients, customers and investors and protects the safety and soundness of the Firm. 
    • Audit As an independent function, Audit provides objective assurance to improve the firm’s overall operations and brings a systematic, disciplined approach to our risk, control and governance processes.   
    • Firmwide Data Management (FDM) serves as the governing body to create firmwide standards that drive consistent data management practices, develop technologies and processes to support data management processes, and partner with LOBs to embed data management best practices and capabilities. Within FDM, the Firmwide Data Use (FDU) team was established in response to the emerging risk of data use, and focuses on initiatives that enhance and protect the value of JPMC's data in the rapidly evolving "Big Data" economy.
