Our team:

The J.P. Morgan Endowments & Foundations Group ("EFG") is a dedicated team of investment specialists leveraging the firm's global resources to provide customized solutions and advice for endowments, private and public foundations, and not-for-profits on their investment needs.  EFG focuses exclusively on meeting the investment needs of not-for-profit organizations ranging from $25mm - $500mm+ in assets globally.


EFG offers clients a broad spectrum of investment-related services that can be applied together or individually to accommodate an organization's existing capabilities.  Areas of specialization include: Customized asset allocation; Portfolio construction advice and execution; Manager Selection and due diligence; and Liquidity management and Investment Policy Statement guidelines and assistance. 


The EFG Business Management team supports senior management in the EFG organization to manage and execute key initiatives. The highly visible role will be based in New York and work in close partnership with EFG business leadership, client facing teams, technology, finance, middle office and controls partners across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The role will help develop and deliver on business strategies and priorities, while also supporting the day to day operations of the business.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support EFG team in all aspects of the platform ranging from driving strategic initiatives to day-to-day issues
  • Analyze, synthesize and interpret large amounts of data and information, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for senior management
  • Partnering  with cross functional teams to support key facets of the Global EFG business development
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact with EFG leadership and business and control partners
  • Help engage and train new team members with prospecting and sales management
  • Provide tactical team support , e.g., presentations and reporting for senior management
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends affecting endowments and foundations
  • Work with Investor and Solutions team to improve client experience
  • Proactive in volunteering for strategic initiatives outside of daily responsibilities even if working with other managers
  • As you progress in your role, you will assume significant responsibility by interacting frequently with our senior leadership and solutions partners

We seek candidates with a unique blend of interpersonal and analytical skills who are able to efficiently leverage both qualitative and quantitative resources to understand complex financial situations and present solutions. Specific qualifications include:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the wealth management/asset management industry or in a project or business management role
  • Proven track record of delivering projects, complex products and/or new business initiatives
  • Experience in effectively messaging priorities, initiatives and updates to senior management
  • Superior multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of multi-asset markets, products and processes is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and poise giving presentations
  • Genuine interest in financial markets, investments and macro-level economic trends
  • The ability to be a dynamic member of a team
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with great attention to detail; demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision
  • Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
  • Experience using Microsoft office programs including excel, power point and Adobe PDF
