 Proposal Associate – Commercial Bank


As a key contributor to the proposal process, work with bank's proposal team members and other subject matter experts to incorporate pre-approved written responses as well as crafting new responses into proposals.  Incorporate winning themes and features/benefits into the solution.  Help identify any additional narrative and/or graphic needs and work with subject matter experts and graphic artists to develop and finalize content. 

  • Technical writing of required responses to RFP/RFI/RFQ's for treasury services
  • Translate and map technical information into language understood by all levels of clients
  • Understand the client’s RFP request and provide consultative advice to deal team
  • Establish a project schedule and proactively manage the project  against proposal timelines
  • Act as the central point of contact for the deal team throughout the proposal process
  • Research topics, gather and analyze information and background materials; consult with subject matter experts to clarify details and develop custom responses, as needed
  • Incorporate and revise reusable proposal sections from prior responses in context of current proposal
  • Plan layout of work within the response, arranging sequence of topics and graphics, as applicable
  • Incorporate graphical elements (process flows, etc) into materials
  • Finalize and produce printed copies of RFP responses using a copy center
  • Sort and archive re-usable sections in proposal information database

  • 2-5 years of experience with sales, implementation, or support of treasury management services
  • 2-5 years technical, business writing/ proposal writing experience and/or production support of proposals preferably in banking/TS products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and grammar skills
  • Advanced personal computer skills and related Microsoft Office software suite
  • Proven ability as a self-starter, detail oriented, well organized and able to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as team member on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Schedule flexibility to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required, during critical phases of the project
  • Ability to develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the technology, equipment, operations processes and system commonly used to develop solutions for this engagement
