Marketing Analytics Director

Job Description

The Marketing Analytics Director will be responsible for leading CCB Mortgage Marketing analytics and strategic planning solutions.  This role is a combination of consulting (problem solving and client interaction) and leading the development and rollout of data analytics through enterprise platforms.  The successful candidate will deliver insights that drive business value.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Directly shape components of analytical deliverables and how to accomplish
  • Deliver tactical and strategic forecasting and operational planning insights through analytics, reporting and state of the art visualization techniques
  • Provide subject matter expertise for data driven forecasting and planning opportunities
  • Lead execution, implementation of programs, processes and initiatives
  • Partner with a variety of internal and external clients to solve quantitative problems related to optimizing business processes and performance
  • Interact with senior leaders within CCB organization to drive and develop business strategy and performance
  • Align with data owners and department managers, contribute to the development of data models and architecture for analytics
  • Build cohesive, winning team through strong communication and involvement of all members
  • Coordinate partner demands with team capacity through effective management

 

Qualifications:
  • The candidate should have 10+ years of analytical and / or modeling experience
  • Leadership role in leading a team of quantitative analysts or data scientists
  • Preferred candidate would have a Master’s degree (Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Sciences) and working experience in financial industry
  • Hands-on experience in delivering analytics and insights to multiple levels of management
  • Tangible experience  with business strategy and tactical implementation
  • Proficient in standard data mining and analytical methods, SAS experience preferred
  • Strong analytics, interpretive and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in time series analysis with demonstrable experience in applying comprehensive factor analysis
  • Technical understanding of data extraction, transformation and load processing
  • Experience with dynamic and interactive reporting applications
  • Strong project management skills – the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work requirements to work in multi-disciplinary team setting
  • Consulting orientation ability to influence both internal & external business partners
  • Strong written and oral presentation / communication skills – the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders
