As the search team's Administrator / Developer Lead, this individual will support the existing firm-wide search product.  The desired candidate will work with the product manager, business analyst & project manager to support the existing products through various development projects and core support activities. 

  

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and leadership for the enterprise search solution.
  • Working effectively and efficiently with senior-level personnel within Escalation Management, Consulting and Implementation teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Working directly with strategic clients to provide reactive and consultative service to promptly resolve operations issues.
  • Developing holistic technical solutions to client management, and innovate on current processes to improve top-level support operations.
  • Work on developing new enterprise search solutions and subsequent maintenance releases.
  • 7+ years of experience in Application Development. 
  • 2+ years experience in administration and development of large scale search systems.
  • Search Technology experience with one or more of the following: SOLR, Elasticsearch, Endeca, or Sharepoint Search.
  • 5+ years experience in software development utilizing JAVA, .NET, XSLT, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of the overall business operating models and underlying technical architecture.
  • Strong middleware and Internet technology experience.
  • Experience with Regular expressions.

  • Strong interpersonal and team communication skills.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
  • Experience with large-scale search systems.
  • Experience with communications groups.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical ability as it relates to system design.
