Corporate Treasury Consulting

The Treasury Services Corporate Treasury Consulting team drives deeper drive client engagement through thought leadership and experience and help drive strategic priorities. The Primary responsibility of the consultant is identify, build and lead strategic discussions with client Treasury teams on their key areas of interest, in turn providing the motivation and reason to move business to the firm.

 
Description:

As a Corporate Treasury Consulting (CTC) Associate you will work with the TS Consultants to support our clients in the management and solutioning of their Treasury needs, as well as coordination of pre and post-acquisition integration activities impacting treasury and operating functions for inbound and across lines of business merger activity.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support TS Consultants, TMO’s and Bankers with TS integration activities related to a corporate action; allowing them to focus on business development across key facets of our business including: core cash management, card, merchant services and liquidity
  • Assist in the development of client facing material pre and post analysis to highlight recommendations around Treasury needs
  • Assist with the positioning and closing of identified opportunities for new business a result of a corporate action and consulting engagement by preparing case studies, white papers and presentations
  • Research and analysis of internal and external data specifically for the purpose of create recommendations to clients
  • Attend select client meetings;  take ownership of post activities, coordinating follow-up/debrief calls with internal product partners, preparation of client facing documents and presentation materials on key topics
  • Work with sales executives to provide periodic and ad hoc data analysis and reporting for planning and decision-making
  • Liaise with internal partners to provide feedback on opportunities to improve the client experience
  • Increase knowledge of the TS Core Cash product suite, and become knowledgeable on other strategic offerings like: Commercial Card, differentiating through industry knowledge and consultative selling methodologies as well as strategic issues like working capital and regulatory changes

  • Effective Verbal and Written Communication, Strong Interpersonal Skills, Resourcefulness, Technical, Team Player, Strong Work Ethic
  • Disciplined project management and organizational skills.  Ability to organize and sequence interdependencies
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills needed, particularly EXCEL and POWERPOINT
  • Strong analytical skills – Not satisfied with just data, must transform to insight for use internally and in client facing material. 
  • Strategic thinker - comfortable transforming abstract ideas into a plan of action
  • Strong written and effective verbal communication and presentation skills required.
  • Team player, self-starter, ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Background knowledge of J.P. Morgan Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, sales processes and relationship financials is a must
  • Strong communicator – leverages strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate and influence others
