Wholesale Credit Transformation is a newly created organization spanning across CCB, CB, and CIB. The transformation team is focused on shaping a client centric, end-to-end Wholesale Credit experience, while driving consistency, speed, efficiency across risk management processes.  
The Wholesale Credit Transformation organization is a motivated, forward thinking team comprised of high-talent individuals with a singular focus of delivering innovative solutions. The position will work extensively with business, risk, and technology teams across all Lines of Business to ensure the implementation of the enhancements fulfill the firm-wide vision.
This role will lead the Data Strategy team as part of Wholesale Credit Risk Transformation, working closely with business, risk, and technology partners to provide an end-to-end data solution that includes execution and delivery of data, metadata management, and data quality for all of Wholesale Credit. The successful candidate will work to combine data across all of wholesale systems into a single cohesive data platform that meets regulatory, risk and business requirements.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: 
  • Identify critical data elements in End-to-End credit risk process across all of Wholesale (from Business Banking, Commercial Banking, through Investment Banking)
  • Establish target state data architecture, data governance and data quality metric and operating model
  • Establish roadmap for Wholesale Credit Data Lake, in partnership with existing efforts
  • Lead the effort to rationalize + centralize historical data and provide guidance on establishing appropriate data lineage for historical data
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Operations Research) is required; advanced degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of Credit Risk Management and/or Analytics in financial industry, preferably credit
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge in SQL, PLSQL, and procedures/functions in working with the following database types: Oracle, Teradata, and MS SQL Server
  • Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to develop common sense solutions to complex business challenges
  • Proven track record in executing large scale system migration/conversion projects at large institutions across multiple functional teams
  • Strong project management skills, and ability to collaborate with multiple points of contact in order to achieve results
  • Proven ability to influence and drive results thorough effective thought leadership and teamwork
  • Knowledge of traditional wholesale credit products will be advantageous. Prior experience with CIB Large Clients space will be preferred
