Chase, a leading provider of diverse financial services worldwide is actively seeking a Business Analyst to mediate between IT and business end-users, manage projects and identify solutions that enhance overall quality at Chase.
This role entails being the liaison between the Products & Solutions development team and the various lines of business including Funds, EMEA, Private Bank etc. Analyzes Business Requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how their applications can best functionally fulfill those needs. Combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and use to create functional designs across applications. This high level functional design is used by BAs of all levels within the group as a basis for their low-level functional design.

Typical Day

Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

Collection and rationalization of user / customer requirements to create clarity and direction for development teams

Develop requirements specifications such as Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Wireframes, Process Flows according to standard templates, using natural language.

Work closely with the business and developers to ensure strong understanding of user requirements

Additional duties may include systems design and testing of systems and deliverables

Provides basic project management and systems leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients/users to analyze information needs and functional requirements

Serve as the conduit between the users, software development and the QA team through which requirements flow.
What Education/Experience do I Need?
- You have at least 4-6 years of experience in business process engineering, business system analysis, and accounting with a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance/Accounting, or both.
- You will have experience in systems development life cycle, authorizations/Tandem applications
Other Requirements
Experience creating text scenarios and writing functional requirements. Understanding of the credit card processing and broad knowledge on the TSYS platforms

Yes, if I have experience with business systems development, knowledge of QA and of the credit card industry experience are assets.
