Oversight & Control – CCB – Project Manager – Vice-President – Wilmington, DE

Job Description

The Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Central Support Team is primarily responsible for oversight and governance of several CCB Control Programs including the RCSA framework, Issue Management, Keys, and Phoenix Support. The team works across the all CCB Lines of Business, as well as with other control teams within the Oversight and Control organization, to govern program standards, identify and remediate control program issue, and provide guidance to key stakeholders in the CCB Lines of Business and Functions. The team partners with all control disciplines, adding an additional line of defense in support of Corporate Operational Risk, Corporate Oversight and Control, Compliance, and Audit, among others.

 

The role includes Governance and Program Management responsibilities supporting ongoing maturity of the control programs.  In this fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to interact with multiple sub lines of business and key stakeholders, in addition to Corporate Support and Oversight and Controls teams.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and self-directed, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-visibility work environment.   

 

As a Project Manager, the general responsibilities will support the administration of the Phoenix Risk and Controls (RCSA) system to the CCB User Community, including but not limited to:

  • Managing and granting Access to systems
  • Managing User Acceptance Testing
  • Tracking and managing solutions for
  • Supporting reporting for Corporate and CCB related to the Phoenix system data
  • Providing support for the roll out New / Updated Risks and Controls
  • Providing Project Management Support for the CCB Controls Roadmap, as well as other adhoc controls related work.

This position supports all Control Program stakeholders across 6 lines of business, CCB Operations, CCB Functions and Corporate including:

  • RCSA, Issue Management and Centralized Testing Leads
  • Internal CCB Controls Program resources including but not limited to RCSA, KRI, RCSA, Issue Management, Centralized Testing, Keys, and NBIA
  • CCB Controls Stakeholders including but not limited to Functional and Business Control Officers, RCSA teams and Testing resources
  • CCB Auditors
  • CCB Compliance
  • Corporate Operational Risk
  • Oversight & Controls Corporate RCSA Team

Job Responsibilities:

 

In Central Support Oversight and Controls, our goal is to help drive the consistency across our sub lines of business from Communications to Servicing with processes established by our CCB Risks and Controls Guidelines and Corporate Guidelines. 

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for select CCB Central Support deliverables such as  user support of the Phoenix system, daily maintenance, cross training, CCB Reporting Support, documenting New / Updated Controls  and project management office support specifically:

  • Processing Change Request forms for Phoenix system; CCB Risks and Controls Library and Hierarchical structure on  Risk Aggregation Units for sub LOBs
  • Providing / updating User Access requests for the Phoenix system
  • Maintenance of the daily work log for requests coming from sub lines of business
  • Documenting and Publishing Meeting Highlights as needed for Phoenix Working Group; RCSA Team meeting; and Controls Program
  • User Acceptance testing experience desired for any Defect corrections or Enhanced functionality to the Phoenix system
  • Tracking and Monitoring of Tester feedback from User Acceptance testing for formal sign off to Corporate 
  • Updating Controls previously rolled out; or newly introduced Controls by jointly completing the template with the Program owner on Master Process Hierarchy information; Risk Alignment and Business Guidelines and Procedures for testing guidance
  • Ensuring documentation (Test Plans, Scripts, Systems of Record, Change requests), file structures and nomenclature captured consistently across business unit file rectories
  • Establishing and monitoring appropriate security levels Phoenix system are provided

Communication:

  • Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to identify the right communication vehicle tailored to the subject matter and the audience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Poise, ease with interactions with stakeholders
  • Ability to craft important updates to stakeholders clearly and concisely related to system outages and enhancements
  • Proven ability to present material to large audiences via conference calls using both speaking and listening skills to manage messages

Program/Controls Management:

  • Project management experience with proven record of taken a project through all life cycles – initiation to completion; Data Mapping experience; and Business Requirements writing experience.
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple initiatives
  • Ability to work with the internal team, business teams, control officers and other control stakeholders integrating information and clearly articulating impacts and solutions
  • Ability to correlate incoming information to solve user problems

Technical Knowledge:

  • First hand knowledge of the Phoenix system, the modules and the data construct
  • Ability to leverage Project Management Tools and User Acceptance Testing Tools to manage tasks
  • Experience using Business Objects Reporting tools to produce risk and control data to key stakeholders
  • Ability to train users on the Phoenix system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field: or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years experience in Retail Line of business Risk and Controls group; project management and / or operational quality assurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel including Pivot Table knowledge, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project and Business Objects Reporting)
  • SharePoint working knowledge
  • Phoenix – Archer software knowledge
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills with proven ability to develop and present concise information
  • Ability to influence and guide others
  • Experience with interacting with all levels of management and leading large groups through materials
