CIB Documentation Management Operations – Associate (502) Markets Document Review Specialist - Brooklyn
 
The strategy of CIB Documentation Management is to implement a common operating model for the end to end lifecycle of client documentation across CIB inclusive of people, process, and technology, while continuing to support our business partners/multiple constituents and to meet all regulatory requirements/demand in a controlled fashion.
 
As a Document Review Specialist, you will be accountable for processing CIB Markets related documentation including ISDAs and subsequent amendments, Credit Support Annexes, OTC Addendums, Dodd Frank Protocols as well as other local jurisdiction agreements.  Participation on various documentation operational improvement projects and integration of new tools will also be required to enhance overall processes.  We are looking for an individual who has the enthusiasm and passion for driving change, a desire to improve the client experience, and a commitment to service excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Markets documentation workflow from the point of submission from legal or credit, including tracking and escalations as applicable.
  • Responsible for interpreting metadata from documentation and engaging Legal and Credit as necessary.
  • Partner with Internal business partners, such as Legal, Product, Sales, Relationship Managers and Client Service.
  • Manage issues and ensure appropriate onward escalation and timely resolution.
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions to address problems, process efficiencies etc.
  • Ensure accurate completion of documentation within the internal service level agreements, and/or client request due dates and also to allow for accurate future retrieval requests can be performed according to data points as necessary and downstream trading can occur
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management and various stakeholders in Operations, Technology, Sales/Relationship Management, Risk, Legal, etc.
  • Ability to follow up on assignments in a timely manner, exercise good judgment and work accurately under pressure.
 


 
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree with minimum 3 years experience within the Financial Services Industry. 
  • Knowledge of Markets and Trading products and corresponding documentation including a broad understanding of legal terms and principles within the following documents in particular: ISDAs and subsequent amendments, Credit Supports Annexes, OTC Addendums, and Dodd Frank Protocols.
  • Analytical mind, able to review and analyze information from multiple sources and determine relevancy to specific issues and route to appropriate business partners.
  • Proven ability to independently identify issues, analyze problems and provide viable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work flow, handle deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strategic thinker, results oriented, and self motivated
  • Interest in learning new skills in a non-static, constantly changing environment.
  • Experience partnering and operating in geographically distributed work groups
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products to include: Excel, Power point, and Word
  • Excellent verbal, written interpersonal and organizational skills.
