Position Overview:
Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Card Digital Business Lead. Serving as the overall Card Digital lead, he or she will work in partnership with the Digital Product Lead for Card to deliver a seamless, integrated and unified digital agenda for Card. This executive will be responsible for developing the long term strategy and deployment plan for Card Digital activities, while maintaining a holistic view of digital activities across Card and relevant horizontal business areas. This will include close partnership with Digital Channel Product Managers, Card CAO, Technology and Marketing.
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for consumer payments industry.  In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.
The Card Digital Business Lead will report to the Head of Strategic Alliances & Loyalty Solutions.
  • Responsible for consolidating single-view card impacting digital activities
  • Coordinate with delivery areas to stage Book of Work, readiness and trade-offs
  • Proactively identify and manage regulations, and test customer experience concepts
  • Coordinate with user acceptance testing and issue management  
  • 10 + years of leadership, strategy and deployment experience with consumer payment products and emerging payments
  • Bachelors Degree required; Advanced degree is desirable
  • Strong preference for prior experience with mobile applications and user experiences
  • Strong organizational & planning skills and a track record of being able to follow through on your plans
  • A strong leader with a track record of creating an environment of support and collaboration within/across teams
  • Proven understanding of marketplace, competitive landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels—team members, peers, business partners and senior and executive management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially comfort and experience presenting to senior executives
  • Proven track record of using influencing skills to drive change in large organizations
  • Responsible for addressing business issues such as risk, legal and compliance and managing resolution
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency for goal achievement, and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions;
    • Demonstrated ability to hire and develop a world class team
    • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
