Global Services Operations (GSO) - is responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI). Through its Global Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations Centers, GSO provides global, coordinated diagnostic and support services, while Production Assurance and Support functions leverage and execute industry-leading infrastructure management and support processes that are designed to minimize customer outages and impacts.
As an Oracle Database Administration Lead, you will work in a team environment to provide support of Oracle databases. You will be responsible for day to day database support, performance monitoring, escalations, installations, upgrades, managing replications, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing and maintaining user accessibility. In addition, you will act as a technical resource for IT applications in specific business group. Having working experience on other relational databases i.e. Sybase, MS SQL Server is preferable.
Excellent technical knowledge gained from hands on role within a global organization. Skills must be current and include; Minimum 10 years’ experience in a mission critical environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
