MB Default Operations Supervisor - Jacksonville, FL

Job Description

The MB Default Operations Supervisor manages the operations and staff who handle loan level transactions for default processes, including bankruptcy and foreclosure document processing. The Default Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing activities of the Document Specialists and Quality Specialists by providing leadership and support.  The role ensures administrative and operational compliance with regulatory requirements and Chase Home Lending policies and procedures.  The Supervisor is accountable for ensuring that each employee consistently meets performance standards.

 

  • Ensures compliance with Chase, LOB and Department, investor and regulatory rules and department service level agreements (SLA's) on a daily and monthly basis through account monitoring reports as well as escalations for the team.  Coaches to ensure that production and quality standards are understood and achieved.
  • Monitors communication and teamwork with internal/external partners to ensure timely hand-off of next process steps.
  • Must effectively communicate Chase, LOB, department & management initiatives, expectations, updates and procedural changes through clear and concise communication.
  • Assists with problem resolution, working directly with internal departments as needed in order to facilitate issue resolution.
  • One to three years of combined mortgage experience including loss mitigation, loan modification, underwriting, bankruptcy, foreclosure, etc strongly preferred
  • One or more years of experience managing in a high productivity operations center strongly preferred
  • One or more years experience in an asset recovery function (i.e., bankruptcy,foreclosures) strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Strong team building skills; ability to onboard, train, manage and motivate staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable, possesses excellent change management skills
