The domain of capital market is large and in general supports the raising of capital (via buying and selling of fixed income assets) to fund primary market mortgage product needs. It supports various critical aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to product structuring, pricing, delivery, risk analysis and valuation of the loan asset. Major stakeholders in this domain range from loan officers to traders and investors as well as pricing and product specialists.
 
Capital Markets is looking for an application developer / analyst to interact with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and contribute directly within a team of developers / analysts to deliver the solution.
  • Good business background in the mortgage origination and servicing domain / and or capital markets is a plus
  • Ability to work in a geographically distributed team and the disciplines associated with it is required
  • Ability to analyze and understand the business problem and document it in a structured fashion is necessary
  • Good communication skills are vital for this role
  • Ability to write logically organized, performant and maintainable code is a must. General idea of component based development model is needed
 
 
 
 
  • 4-6 years of experience on .NET Development, Builds, and Deployments
  • NET Development experience in C#, WPF, WCF and working on 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 environments
  • Experience with Tibco EMS
  • Experience on working with databases (Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server).
  • Experience with build, code and deployment processes and have contributed to design
  • Experience communicating release schedules, activities and status
  • Experience managing multiple builds and releases simultaneously
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in the current release process
  • Proven expertise and deep experience with Multi-threaded software development, application/database tuning
  • Proven expertise in Automated Unit Testing (NUnit or similar) and Mocking (NMoq or similar)
  • Good understanding of Continuous Integration and build (using jenkins or similar)
  • Good experience of SVN or any source code repository (Git Stash)
