Commercial Banking Real Estate Relationship Manager - Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Commercial Banking’s DNA (Data, Innovation & Business Architecture) team has newly formed to enhance CB’s data and analytics capabilities and ensure stable and resilient business architecture in order to deliver the best experience to our customers and employees.
The Commercial Banking Real Estate Relationship Manager is a real estate liaison to Global Real Estate (GRE).  The relationship manager is responsible for managing real estate requests from CB and providing ongoing status updates to management.  In addition, this manager is responsible for managing occupancy strategy and ensures LOB initiatives are aligned with enterprise goals.
Specific Roles
  • Captures and fully comprehends the CB Real Estate Strategy working closely CB Finance and GRE.  Actively participates in GRE strategy meetings to ensure CB requests are being managed appropriately
  • Communicate daily with CB business partners.  Manage and understand CB needs while aligning to Corporate standards
  • Work closely with fellow LOB Relationship Managers to accommodate requests
  • Understand and articulate P&L impact via occupancy expense
  • Responsible for ensuring relocations are executed smoothly and provide guidance and support for moves
  • Resolve issues expeditiously and ensures all key stakeholders are informed
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports communicating the status of CB RE projects
  • Complete various presentation decks and data compilation for programs that are complex and/or sensitive in nature such as Capital Committee, LOB Forum Site Spotlights, and monthly reporting to both CB and GRE
  • 5 years of experience in financial services and/or construction project management
  • Bachelors degree in finance, construction, or architecture; MBA a plus
  • Proven track record of achieving results.  Able to independently make fact-based decisions
  • Ability to analyze and communicate business implications and create meaningful recommendations
  • Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and to lead and influence without having positional authority
  • General understanding of Commercial Banking and other LOB's operations, job structures and JPMC corporate culture
