As a GHHN Treasury Sales Associate, you will be responsible for supporting a team of GHHN Treasury Management Officers (TMO) charged to grow JPMorgan's GHHN focused treasury business.

 
The GHHN segment targets clients across;
  • Government – State, county, city governments, school districts, water authorities, municipal government agencies.
  • Healthcare – Hospitals , Health Systems Large Physician Groups, LTC Facilities, ETC
  • Higher Education –  College and Universities
  • Not For Profits – Social/Human Services, Membership Organization, Foundations, and Cultural Institutions
 

Our GHHN Treasury Sales Associates have exposure to clients and prospects, initially serving as the secondary officer supporting Treasury Sales activities with assigned clients.  Overall, the role allows individuals to develop the necessary foundation; sales, client management, and product knowledge, for a successful career within the firm.

 
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Understanding clients' Treasury cash management structure and objectives
  • Assisting with call preparation/follow-up, customer research, and pitch books
  • Developing account plans, briefing memos and relationship reviews
  • Coordinating with product partners to develop solutions
  • Taking the lead on RFP/RFI solution development
  • Developing an understanding of competitors’ products and positioning within the client
  • Developing and maintaining client facing relationship reviews of all treasury services used by assigned clients; analyzing results
  • Identifying product extensions and growth opportunities
  • Working with the TMO on new bids including cost/benefit analysis, pricing and profitability models, etc.
  • Working with TMO’s to finalize sales through documentation coordination/negotiation and smooth handoff to implementation team
  • Work with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing/billing
  • Work closely with TMO’s to ensure correct pipeline reporting
  • Coordinating Credit Risk, Know Your Customer and other hierarchies with assigned Bankers

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in cash management or related field
  • B.A./B.S with accounting/finance preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of J.P. Morgan Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
  • Ability to recognize a client's needs and apply solution selling requiring a deep comprehension of our products, not surface level
  • Exposure and fundamental understanding of the Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Non Profit verticals
  • Strong drive/ambition to develop into an individual contributor salesperson
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Proven PC skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and internet based systems experience
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
