The Global Compliance Operations (GCO) organization provides management and oversight associated with operational support for Global Compliance including the development of operational centers of excellence for compliance functions which are operational in nature including: Alert Operations (Level 1 Alerts Disposition), OFAC/Client Screening, Due Diligence, Look Backs, Disclosure of Interest, Account Activity Reviews, Personal Account Dealing, and Licensing & Registration.  

GCO is responsible for supporting and leading aspects of the firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program. The team works closely with the AML Program Management Office, Global Financial Crimes Compliance and the enterprise-wide control program teams to identify, remediate and track issues, and develop controls to sustain improvements as they are made. The company's responsibilities related to Anti-Money Laundering span every business, function and region - and apply to every customer and client of the firm.

Role
The Training Associate will be responsible for all aspects of training development across the Delaware Global Compliance Operations teams.  The role involves developing, delivering & assessing effectiveness of all training activities.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Developing training materials
  • Liaising with senior managers to identify training priorities (including training needs analysis)
  • Delivering GCO Training courses
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of training programs and events
  • Overseeing production & quality control of training materials
  • Monitoring effectiveness of training programs
  • Maintaining training records & providing meaningful MIS & intelligence
  • Developing of communication plans to target audiences
  • Facilitating pre and post training activities – logistics, tracking, material production, responding to questions related to training
  • Building relationships with team, global Compliance Operations and Corporate training functions – acting as liaison point for training requiring LOB partnership
    • 2-3 years minimum experience in a training position (this includes facilitating and creating curriculum)
    • Proven record of successful of development and delivery of training courses and materials
    • Experience with learning management systems preferred
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proactive, independent, self managing and self-motivated
    • Pragmatic approach to creation and enhancement training material
    • Good leadership skills and demonstrated accountability for delivery and decision making
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to clearly convey information and adjust style to intended audience
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Enthusiasm with ‘can-do’ attitude essential
    • Knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory issues preferred
