Asia Funds Group

 

Asia Funds Group is part of the CIB Credit Risk Management division in JPMorgan. The group is responsible for conducting credit due diligence on fund counterparties in Asia.  The group covers asset managers in Asia ex-Japan and Hedge Funds in the Asia Pacific region.  We are looking for a Junior Associate within the group.  The assignment will have a duration of 3 months and will be focusing on credit due diligence of our mutual fund clients.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Undertake credit due diligence and prepare objective credit assessments, recommend risk ratings and credit facilities for approval by Credit Executives
  • Partner Credit Middle Office team to set up and resize credit lines in firm's systems
  • Ongoing monitoring of assigned clients; promptly recommend changes in risk ratings and/or credit limits as appropriate
  • Ensure data quality for the portfolio and take corrective measures as required
  • Work on adhoc requests, undertake industry and regulatory analysis as assigned by senior analysts

 

Skills Required

•             Academic background in Finance/Accounting

•             Exposure to mutual funds/hedge funds

•             Knowledge of capital markets

•             Good analytical skills

•             An eye for detail

•             Ability to work independently

•             Good oral and written communication skills
