CCB Risk

Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others

Card Risk Management is seeking a highly motivated leader (Vice President) that can drive MIS / analytics to the next level. This unique opportunity is equal parts MIS as it is transformation management. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Risk team responsible for leading various reporting and data initiatives for Chase Card Services.  This individual will demonstrate strong analytic & problem solving skills, superior work ethics, and leverage sound judgment to effectively work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.  Additionally, this individual will possess the ability to work with and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable analysis and provide a point of view to CRO level leadership. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building the ‘next generation’ suite of MIS risk reporting,

  • Developing robust data and reporting tools for senior management (i.e. Tableau, QlikView),

  • Executing the end to end reporting and data standards resulting from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles,

  • Identify and automate production routines to improve efficiency,

  • Expanding analytic and data capability for Card Services (i.e. Hadoop, Machine Learning, Big Data application)


  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of consumer risk management and governance concepts
  • Project management experience a plus
  • 4 year college degree (Preferably with advanced degree – i.e. MBA)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant business analysis experience
  • Experience with SAS, advanced SQL(Teradata/Oracle/Other equivalent), Essbase, and BI Reporting Tools
  • Awareness of the Card business and MIS/IT strategy planning
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills; to include experience in writing functional and technical specifications to translate data to business contexts
