Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist clients with philanthropic intent who are looking to increase impact, collaborate with others and implement strategic philanthropic programs. This position will focus on the Latin American region.
Assist in new business development across a broad spectrum of JPMorgan’s asset management business including: individual and family wealth; private foundations; trusts and other charitable vehicles.
Advise on best practices in philanthropic giving, including: vision and philosophy of giving; operating procedures; governance; succession; and grant-making approaches.
Advise on family-led decision making and coaching of next generation family members.
Manage ongoing relationships with select clients who require ongoing assistance with grant making or other elements of their philanthropic endeavors.
Maintain a strong professional and community network and broad understanding of the nonprofit sector to inform the work conducted in behalf of and in conjunction with clients.
Plan, facilitate and speak at educational forums, board meetings and other client activities designed to highlight best practices in philanthropy.
Bachelor Degree in related field.
5-7 years experience in non-profit organization, foundation, consulting and/or related work.
Experience in sales and marketing a plus.
Fluent speaker and writer in Spanish and English.
Willingness to travel for business.
Comfort with working in a dynamic and fast paced setting that involves managing multiple deadlines and varying types of constituents.
Salary commensurate with experience.
